Now it’s easier for your fans to explore your channel on the latest YouTube apps for Android and for iOS. When fans get to your channel, you can keep them around longer. With the swipe of a finger, they can keep watching your video at the bottom of the screen while exploring the rest of your channel at the same time.

Your playlists, now available on mobile!
In addition to watching your videos and checking out your channel, fans can also now search for playlists on their phones, giving more life to the investment you made in programming them. With the new “Play All” button, your fans can sit back and watch all of your Season 2, making it easier to watch more wherever they happen to be.

Your videos directly to your fans’ personal YouTube jumbotron
The Cast button on YouTube already lets your fans send YouTube videos from the phone or tablet to a connected TV, like on Chromecast, Google TV, Playstation 3 and other TVs. To make it easier to choose what to watch next, they’ll see a preview screen when their devices are connected and they select a video, with options to play the video or queue it to watch next.

Remember when you updated your channel to the new One Channel format? Well, here’s where it starts to get cool. This new design puts more focus on your beautiful videos with a cleaner, simpler look and makes it easier for viewers to find more to watch on your channel.

If you’re with us and the thousands of video fans at VidCon, you’ll hear about more ways we’re investing in you on YouTube. We’re here to help you: from promotion to channel management to content optimisation, we have the resources and programs to support you. That’s why more of you with accounts in good standing will be able to use the new features you’ve been asking for: live streaming, custom thumbnails, external annotations and series playlists.
Start live streaming if you have 100+ subscribers: All channels in good standing with at least a hundred subscribers will be able to live stream, within the next few weeks. Check your Account Features page for an “Enable” button, and click it if you're interested.
Choose your best thumbnail: Help your video stand out by using a custom thumbnail. Make sure you only upload images that are representative of what viewers will see, like prominent stills from the video.
Drive traffic to your merch: Want viewers to buy that new t-shirt you’re wearing in your video? You can now use annotations to link externally to various online stores and your associated websites.
Programme-related videos for viewers: Help viewers watch more of your videos by placing them in a series playlist. When you group videos that belong together, we’ll show viewers of your videos the next episode from the series and a link to the whole playlist. Just mark your playlist as a “series” in the playlist settings.
If you want tips on the best ways to use any of these features, learn more from the YouTube Creator Playbook.

The YouTube Team

YouTube Analytics can teach you more about your audience and help you spot trends to improve your channel. As your channels and networks grow, one of the top requests you ask for is to see more of your videos at once in YouTube Analytics. Starting today, you can see your top 200 videos in your video reports, as well as new charts to visualise your channel’s activity. For networks, you can now see the same data for your top 200 channels.

The new multi-line graphs allow you to compare the performance of up to 25 videos, channels or geographies over time in a number of reports. This is great for comparing video views, comparing views in different geographies, where most of your subscribers come from, and more.

With the stacked area view you can see how the data of selected videos, channels or geographies relate to their totals.

Drop us a comment here or in the YouTube Analytics Google+ community with more features you’d like to see.
